Since 1991, the technology of ionophoresis has been used by dermatologists and beauty salons to give you a permanent antiperspirant effect. Ionophoresis consists of immersing the hands or feet in two 2 basins, each of which contains 1 to 2 cm of water. When in ionophoresis mode, the device generates a small current suitable for ionophoresis.
Ionophoresis gives a permanent antiperspirant effect very rapidly.
This permanent antiperspirant device may be used for both hands at the same time; it is very simple to preset the current (graduations on the control knob) by means of the current delay device with a delay period of 10 sec + / -1 before activation. The feet can also be treated. The IONOMAT, permanent antiperspirant device is connected directly to the mains and does not use batteries, making it environmentally friendly.
The 2 electrodes of IONOMAT are connected to a DC current generator which can be set between 0 to 20 or 30 mA. A user suffering from hyperhidrosis (excessive perspiration), when treated using the LEVIT method, receives a current in one direction of around 20 mA for about 10 min, followed by an identical current with the polarities reversed. After 5 sessions, there is a clear reduction in hyperhidrosis, and after a number of sessions a permanent antiperspirant effect is achieved in most cases.
The IONOMAT can be switched off at any time by means of the projecting emergency stop switch.
